About the Organization

The LGBT+ Alliance has been a Stony Brook University Undergraduate organization since 1974. It has been formerly known as the Lesbian & Gay Alliance, the Lesbian, Gay & Bi-sexual Alliance, the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual, & Transexual Association, and the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transexual Alliance. Our aim is to provide an affirming community for SBU queer, questioning, and ally students. The club has weekly general body meetings and biweekly discussion meetings.
